Lamination is the covering of a product with a plastic film. Lamination can be used as a method of decoration or as protection against moisture, dust, abrasion. The laminating film can be transparent or matte. The clear film accentuates the colors of the product, while the matte creates the impression of completeness.
The laminating film can also be of various thicknesses: from 25 to 250 microns. The thicker the film, the thicker the product itself – 250 micron film laminated paper becomes similar to a plastic card.
